Comedian and radio personality Adam Carolla recently listed his Los Angeles-area home for $3.395 million.

The popular funnyman picked up the La Cañada Flintridge residence about three years ago and added his own modern flair to the 1963-built home. The house features a contemporary update alongside classic features. It stretches to 3,980 square feet, with five bedrooms and four baths throughout its single floor of living space.

The exterior architecture is French and modern, and the interiors are bright and spacious. The central gathering space is a sprawling great room holding the living room, kitchen, and family room; the living room features an extravagant sense of scale, with a bright white vaulted ceiling and a wall of glass windows and sliders looking onto the property. A classic midcentury corner fireplace with a floating hearth anchors the space.

A mixture of Terrazzo and hardwood floors offer a unique blend of old and new, but the transitional kitchen certainly channels Mid-Century living, with subway tile and a period ceiling vent.

The lush backyard features a saltwater swimming pool and a spa.
