Jason Kidd Takes $4.8M for Manhattan Condo

Legendary NBA All-Star and Olympic gold medal winner Jason Kidd recently sold his Manhattan condo for $4.775 million. The luxurious 2,755-square-foot unit is located in NYC’s Lincoln Square neighborhood, and features four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and superb views of the Hudson.

Unfortunately, the views didn’t sell the condo for its original $5.35 million asking price. But Kidd still made nearly half a million dollars on his original investment; he purchased the unit in 2012, for a little less than $4.3 million.

The corner living room sells the home, with plenty of glass to give the unit context. It’s 36 feet long, and flows into the dining room and kitchen. Brazillian cherry wood floors run throughout the home, and contrast well with the teak cabinets in the kitchen.

The layout places the master in another corner, and features plenty of closet space between the bedroom and the master bath, which is expressed in teak and marble. The other three bedrooms are situated on an opposing corner, with two out of three featuring private baths.

The building’s amenities are standard upscale, with a full-time doormen, a luxurious gym setup, and a recreation complex complete with a two-lane bowling alley topping the list.

Kidd played with Team USA in 2000 and 2008, helping the Olympiads on their way to the gold. His four-season tenure as coach of the Milwaukee Bucks ended this year.
