Keep your eyes peeled! Porsche has begun delivering its highly anticipated new Porsche 911 GT2 RS to first-in-line customers.
One such customer is NBA pro baller Austin Rivers. The Washington Wizards point guard took delivery this month, and then quickly took to Instagram to show off his new ride. It doesn’t come as much of a surprise that Rivers is one of the first customers to receive a GT2 RS; he is a well-known automotive enthusiast, and the new Porsche will take its place among good company in what must be a rather large garage.
Rivers’ collection is already filled with high-end vehicles, including Rolls-Royces, a Mercedes G Wagen, and a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, among others. But the new Porsche offers something missing from the lineup. A quick Porsche is a unique driving experience, needless to say, and this one pumps out 700 horsepower and 533 lb-ft of torque, enough to get the car to 60 in just 2.7 seconds.
The GT2 RS is a sleek as it is strong with an all-black design complete with black rims. Its a striking design, and a worthy addition to the NBA player’s auto collection.
