Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen Score Sale of $14M Manhattan Penthouse

It took about two years, and involved one large price chop, but Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have finally connected with a buyer for their Flatiron penthouse. The couple had first listed the property in 2016, slapping a $17.3 million price tag on it; a sale at that figure would’ve rendered a roughly $5 million gross return on their investment, as the duo picked up the home in the late summer of 2014 for just under $12 million.

But, it was not to be. The home vanished from the market for a few months, and resurfaced last year at $14 million. Its recent sale price is—as of now—not a matter of public record, but a guess would place it at no less than $13.5 million.

After all, Brady and Bündchen spent a pretty penny to have the residence revised by Peter Marino; Marino is currently one of the darlings of the Manhattan architectural world, and owning a penthouse that’s been given his full attention registers as a bit of a coup.

The home’s mix of metallic and wood textures makes for a nice complexity, contrasting with and enhancing the views of Manhattan and the Hudson.

Brady and Bündchen are currently residing in their second unit in 70 Vestry. The couple traded up to a $30 million unit in the building—from a $20 million, lower-floor unit—about a year ago.
