Movie and TV producer Oren Koules hardly had time to watch the dust settle on the sale of his beachfront rustic contemporary in Ventura before picking up another oceanfront L.A.-area property. Koules recently paid $7.775 million for this Malibu beach home, and is now settling back in beside the Pacific.

Koules—who is known for his work on “Two and a Half Men” and the “Saw” films—is the new owner of the Broad Beach area house. The property was previously owned by singing duo Steve Lawrence and the late Eydie Gormé. During the height of Steve and Eydie’s career, greats like Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra could be found at the beach house.

The 4,282-square-foot home holds four bedrooms and four bathrooms. A bit eccentric in its style and layout, the post-and-beam home boasts classic features like hardwood floors, a brick fireplace, several built-ins, skylights, and glass sliders offering views of the Pacific.

It is also incredibly comfortable, with an easygoing atmosphere that fits its locale perfectly. Visitors and residents alike will also enjoy the brick patio and easy access to 40 feet of ocean frontage.

Considering the home was originally listed for $8.9 million in October, Koules made quite the deal by holding off before making his offer. In addition to his producing credits, Koules is the co-founder of Evolution Entertainment, the production company who brought the critically acclaimed film “Dallas Buyers Club” to movie screens.
