Restauranteur Aaron Kennedy is hoping for fast service following the listing of his Boulder, Colorado, home for $10 million.

The Noodles & Company founder opened his first location in Colorado, but the brand has quickly spread nationwide. Now, it looks like Kennedy is looking to move up from his estate. Which he’s dubbed Flapjack Farm.

The 2005-built, 6,000-square-foot home is far from farmhouse-style, though. In fact, the stunning four-bed, six-bath manse boasts an ultra-contemporary look with mid-Century “modern rural” styling cues.

The residence boasts soaring ceilings and walls of glass windows. Materials like stone, wood, and steel beams blend the rustic and the modern. The home is designed to fit in harmoniously with its surroundings, and apparently involved some landscape osmosis on the part of the architect: he camped on the property to get a feel for the home’s design in the context of its location.

The design of the home is therefore in tune with a sense of place. Windows were arranged to allow heat in during the winter and doors were positioned at the vernal and autumnal equinoxes. The home is set on 15 acres of land, and accented by a pool and spa, a pool house, a barn, and a one-mile path.
