Golden State Warriors player Kevin Durant has picked up a luxurious Malibu beach house for $12.05 million.

The NBA star’s new beachfront residence is set on a private gated street. A contemporary dating to 1976, it recently underwent extensive interior renovations. Bright and airy, the multilevel home boasts a contemplative exterior look, and an interior with a pleasing sense of scale.

Interior/exterior flow is prominently featured in the revised home. Retractable walls of glass and numerous terraced balconies make the most of its location, with all three levels offering outdoor space overlooking the ocean and Broad Beach.

Otherwise, things look thoroughly up-to-date within. LED-backlit tray ceilings, vaulted ceilings, and imposing accents walls present a detached demeanor, while wide-plank French Oak floors and a 1980’s vintage-style industrial-influenced staircase warm things up a little.

The home’s living spaces include a magnificent kitchen with Calcutta marble. Four bedrooms, a movie theater, a library, a glass wine wall, and a lofted exercise and massage space help fill out the 5,100 square feet of living area.

Nine-time NBA All-Star team member Durant has been a warrior since 2016.
