London-based Lion’s Den Motorcycles has introduced a striking new bike build dubbed the Dirty Racer. The bike is defined by its use of zebra-wood, leather, brass, and a black finish.
Lion’s Den Motorcycles is a new company, with a fairly strong sense of vision. The shop used a Yamaha XT600 as a base, building it up as an idealized, or romantic, dirt bike. The end result bears the look of a slick urban ride; it’s still plenty durable for off-road riding, but it would look more at home cruising downtown streets.
Lion’s Den was able to greatly improve on the Yamaha, which was in an especially “sorry state” prior to the overhaul. And, they didn’t have to worry about the demands of a specific buyer, since the build was a side project for the shop owner.
Dirty Racer is a gorgeous racer, and its builder’s attention to detail results in a one-of-a-kind moto build. We look forward to seeing more output from Lion’s Den.
