German watchmaker Montblanc has introduced a timeless new limited-edition timepiece.

The Montblanc 1858 Chronograph Tachymeter Limited Edition 100 has a classic design, a vintage style that’s sure to pair perfectly with any modern man’s wardrobe; it balances nostalgia and the present-tense very well.

The brand’s latest foray into haute horology was inspired by classic Minerva chronographs from the 1930s. The bronze watch features classic hand-finishing techniques with a cream-colored dial. The 44mm special alloy case was designed to develop a unique patina as it ages. Additional elements like a cathedral design chronograph, and a Super-LumiNova finish, make the 18-karat red gold watch truly special.

The watch features a very respectable 50 hours of power reserve. And, the Montblanc Manufacture Calibre MB M16.29 is easily viewed in action via the sapphire caseback.

Montblanc’s new 1858 Chronograph Tachymeter Limited Edition 100 is available for $27,500, and is limited to 100 examples.
