Steve Hilton has sold his magnificent, glass-clad Malibu home for $8 million.

The grandson of late hotel magnate Conrad Hilton (and uncle to Paris and Nicky) will surely miss the three-story oceanfront Malibu Cove Colony home with its unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean. Hilton’s former digs were designed by Jay Vanos and underwent a major renovation in 2010.

Nearly every room boasts ocean and Santa Catalina Island views, including head-on views from one of the showers. Of course, features like a custom saltwater aquarium, a circular staircase, light hardwood floors, skylights, and a number of glass partitions add an air of luxury.

Visitors will be especially drawn to the open-concept living room and kitchen; the common area boasts walls of glass and a fireplace. The 3,385-square-foot residence holds four bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The property incorporates a walled courtyard with a tiled hot tub.

Hilton formerly served as the president of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation before his retirement in 2015, but he’s best known for his philanthropic interests; to date, he’s helped to raise more than $1.4 billion for nonprofit organizations.
