Emmy-winning “West Wing” actress Stockard Channing has listed her Hollywood Hills West home for $1.849 million.
The stage and screen star originally put the property on the market a year ago for $1.895 million, but wound up leasing it instead, for about $6,000 a month. Built in the 1950s, the 2,200-square-foot home holds two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Set on a hillside lot, what makes the property special is its lofty location, providing canyon views from a number of terrace spaces and large patios. Of course, the future owner will also have plenty of access to beautiful vista and treetop views through a number of picture windows.
The residence boasts a combination living and dining space with a sleek and minimalist kitchen, a breakfast nook, and a living room with a red-brick fireplace and wood built-ins.
Before starring in “The West Wing,” Channing hit it big with her role in “Grease,” and she’s since won a Tony for “A Day in the Life of Joe Egg,”
