Actor Cary Grant’s former Palm Springs vacation home is now on the market for $13 million. And, yes, it’s spectacular.

The estate was dubbed Villa Paradiso by Grant. It’s located in the Old Las Palmas neighborhood, and could easily pass for a resort. The Spanish-style home served as a frequent vacation spot for Grant, and with nearly four private acres and a number of amenities, allowed the busy star plenty of breathing room and many a luxuriant respite.

The 1928-built manse was originally constructed for a Chicago heiress, and it certainly bears signs of the aristocratic tastes in fashion during that particular era, with an extremely warm interior, heavy decor, a checkerboard floor entry and panoramic wallpaper. In addition to the main home, there are three other separate residences; in all, there are eight bedrooms across roughly 15,000 square feet of living space.

In addition to manicured grounds landscaped with hundreds of cypress trees and palms, the property boasts incredible views of the nearby mountains, and a four-car climate-controlled garage for your most beloved vehicles.

Las Vegas hotel owner Charlie “Kewpie” Rich was an earlier owner, and during his time in residence, he constructed the swimming pool and pool guesthouse.

Former late owner Cary Grant is known for bringing his effortless sense of style to many films, including Hitchcock classics “Notorious” and “North by Northwest.”
