Former Clipper Chris Paul has just sold his Los Angeles-area home for $8.7 million.

The new Houston Rockets player’s former pad is located in Bel-Air and stretches to nearly 12,200 square feet. The Mediterranean-style mansion was built in 2003 and holds eight bedrooms, 11 baths, and a number of amenities befit of an NBA star.

An expansive chef’s kitchen with two islands and dark cabinetry opens to the family room and seems to be the natural heart of the home. Between plenty of space for formal dining and a wine cellar fit for 500 bottles, it’s also the perfect spot to host gatherings with friends and family.

Some of the standout features include a billiards room, a gym with a sauna, a 12-seat theater, and a commercial elevator leading down to the home’s 10-car subterranean garage. As expected, the master suite is luxurious as well with a balcony, a private sitting room, and a fireplace.

Out back, the future owner will surely enjoy the lush lawns, expansive patio space, and the swimming pool and spa.

The all-star point guard was traded to the Rockets in June. He still owns at least one other property in the L.A. area.
