China-based technology company Robosea has launched an underwater drone that offers a new way to experience what is down below in the deep blue sea. They’re calling it the BIKI, and it’s the first fully submersible drone to hit the market.

BIKI uses an infrared positioning sensor to help it move under the surface with ease and precision. The unit also packs a trademarked algorithm that helps the drone plot a course, and avoid obstacles. The unique machine also comes with self-stabilization technology to help steer the device while capturing 16-megapixel pictures and recording 4K videos.

BIKI comes with a built-in GPS module to ensure its return to base when the journey is over. The user also has the ability to watch a live transmission of the underwater footage on personal smart devices or social media. The unit can submerge to a depth of 200 feet for two and a half hours on a single charge.

For the icing on top, BIKI is adorably shaped like a fish. Future owners should be careful of where they have it swim, just in case there’s a shark around! That’s not covered by the warranty.
