Former Model/CEO of Baby Phat Kimora Lee Simmons and Financier Husband Tim Leissner Drop $25M on L.A. Mansion

Former model and reality-T.V. presence Kimora Lee Simmons has, with her husband Tim Leissner, picked up a Beverly Park estate to the tune of $25 million. The property had been listed as high as $33.5 million in the spring of 2016, but had been yanked from the market when it failed to sell at a reduced $30 million.

The Italianate villa dates to the early 1990’s—1992, to be exact—and features the palatial consolations endemic to the area. Lots of stone, many a-flourish, and a blend of styles set off an otherwise fairly conventional home design concerned with form and a healthy sense of neighborly competition. The foyer, with grand double staircase, was designed to set the tone of the home.

At over 20,000 square feet of living space, the property has enough room for many amenities. Among other diversions are a home cinema, conservatory, wood paneled library, and wine cellar. The home features some careful craftsmanship, including inlaid stone floors, crown moldings and ornate ceilings.

The conservatory, with its simple, steel-framed paneled floor-to-ceiling windows is especially appealing, and opens onto the gardens and walkways that lead into the 3.89 acres of land. The kitchen is huge, with a center island, plenty of stainless, and tiled floor.

The property exterior features a gated entrance, a long driveway leading to the motor court, a pool and tennis court, loggias, and terraces.

Kimora Lee Simmons re-launched her KLS line in 2015; she was the CEO of Baby Phat from 2007-2010. Simmons and Leissner wed in 2014.
