Actor Jennifer Lawrence is listing her loft apartment in Tribeca as a rental; the ‘Hunger Games’ figurehead and contemporary female role model is looking for $27,500 monthly for the generously proportioned Greenwich Village pad. Lawrence purchased the property only a few months ago, for a little over $9 million.

The apartment measures nearly 3,200 square feet, and contains three bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The building dates to the 19th century, and in one of its original and industrial incarnations was a book bindery, giving it a fairly unique cache. Of course, it also spent some time as a steel-wool manufacturing plant. The listing focuses on the book bindery, though.

The apartment is located on the sixth floor of the building. Its sense of scale is fairly intoxicating, with a living area that sprawls at 35’ by 24’. Its three bedrooms are all en-suite.

The unit’s high end construction incorporates a reclaimed beam with support columns; the raw wood anchors the apartment’s design vision. Wide plank white oak flooring, and kitchen cabinetry by Christopher Peacock that’s a little on the dark side, fill out the home’s spectrum of wood tones. A recessed fireplace and plain, flat-black steel-framed windows completes the apartment’s look of well-considered minimalism.

Jennifer Lawrence is currently filming ‘Red Sparrow’, a cold-war espionage love story. The project gives her the chance to act alongside Charlotte Rampling, Ciarán Hinds, and Jeremy Irons.
