Pop icon Britney Spears finally found success in selling her home in the Lake Sherwood neighborhood of Thousand Oaks, California. The estate fetched $7 million.

Spears had listed the Spanish-style house last year at $8.995 million, but the price had been recently reduced to $7.495 million. Spears only owned the property for five years after scooping it up from retired NHL veteran Russ Courtnall and his actress wife, Paris Vaughan.

This will be the third owner of the 2010-built home, which measures in at 8,500 square feet and boasts high arched windows, vaulted ceilings, and walls of glass to create an indoor-outdoor vibe. The property measures about an acre.

The interior holds five bedrooms and seven bathrooms spread out across the children’s, guest, and master wings of the home. There is also a home theater, a glass-enclosed wine cellar behind a wet bar, a large kitchen with two islands, and a pair of offices.

Outside, there is a covered patio with a built-in barbecue, and a swimming pool Spears added which features a beach entry and waterfall. There are parking garages for seven cars.

Spears is one of the bestselling singers of all time. The 35-year-old pop star has released nine studio albums; her most recent, “Glory,” was released last year. She is also currently headlining in Las Vegas.

Britney isn’t leaving Thousand Oaks, though: the singer purchased another, larger house and parcel for $7.1 million two years ago. That property is a 21-acre spread with a 12,500-square-foot home situated in an enclave developed by Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone.
