Jillian Michaels’ Los Flores home—previously available as a $40K/month rental—has seen a significant price reduction. Initially listed last year for $9.75 million, the home is now asking $8.88 million.

A flashy industrial-themed contemporary style, the 4,300 square foot home contains three bedrooms—all en suite—and an additional half bath. All of the bedrooms are located on the three-level home’s top floor.

With its poured concrete frame, polished concrete floors, steel staircase and abundant glass, the home has the open, neutral look one expects from the style, with hardwood plank ceilings and staircase treads adding a little natural warmth to the proceedings. The kitchen is Scandinavian-inspired, with the wood grain of cabinetry and island matched into a unitary flow. Lighting is uniformly recessed or track. The marble, dual shower stall offers the relief of texture in an otherwise linear and unadorned interior.

The most striking design elements of the house are the wedge-shaped balconies that look out over the ocean, and the concrete first-floor terraces below; one of the terraces opens from the dining room. Folding glass doors allow an effortless blending of the interior, and the property setting. A media room, automated window blinds, and living room fireplace round out a house that is designed, overall, to not distract its occupants from its beautiful location.

Celebrity trainer Michaels uses a fusion of traditional fitness techniques, martial arts and Yoga, among other influences. She has become a staple of fitness-oriented television programming, and her own ‘Just Jillian’ is, this year, heading into its second season on E! Network.
