Bang & Olufsen’s newest wireless speaker set, the Beoplay M5, created by award-winning Danish industrial designer Cecilie Manz, delivers on the Danish brand’s reputation of producing beautiful and even sound.
The cylindrical wireless speaker boasts either a slate gray or black color and seamlessly fits tucked away in any room.
The Beoplay M5 comes with Bang & Olufsen’s True360 Signature Sound and packs three evenly distributed tweeters, a full-range able mid-range driver, and a 5-inch neodymium powered woofer.
Manz’s Beoplay M5 comes with a trio of pre-set sound modes to optimize the performance of the speaker’s location in the room, whether it is up against a wall, in a corner, or freestanding in the middle of the room.
The Beoplay M5 also comes with B&O PLAY, the Danish company’s proprietary Ambient Technology feature that allows for the simulation of true stereo sound from a single speaker. There is also built-in Chromecast that allows for the usage of music streaming services like Spotify, Google Play Music, and Pandora.
The Beoplay M5 retails for a little over $660.
