Nemo Lighting has come out with a re-issue of Le Corbusier’s famed Borne Béton concrete lamp that originally came out in 1952.

Le Corbusier specially crafted the Borne Béton lamp for the architecture and designer’s residential development dubbed the Unité d’Habitation de Marseille.

The design has clearly stood the test of time since Nemo Lighting only made one change to the Borne Béton. The Milan-based company brought the lamp to modernity by giving it an LED set up.

Coming in two sizes, Petite or Grand, the Borne Béton lamp is perfect for either inside or outside usage thanks to its versatile design and concrete aesthetic.

Even Kanye West seems to have a penchant for the lamp. He reportedly told students at the Art Institute of Chicago that he spent $110,000 on an original Borne Béton because it called to him.
