Insta360, the company responsible for the Nano and Air 360-degree camera add-ons for iOS and Android devices, has revealed a new camera at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Dubbed the Insta360 Pro, the new virtual reality camera is built with professional content producers in mind and offers support for as high as 8K resolution.

The spherical Insta360 Pro boasts six lens modules around the camera’s inner workings that work in unison to create video and spherical still images. The camera builds 360-degree video resolution available in 8K at 30 frames per second and 4K video at 100 FPS. The Insta360 Pro can also shoot 3D 360-degree video content at 6K resolution and 30 FPS.

Other features gearing the Insta360 Pro toward content producers are the live stitching and live broadcasting capabilities. When connected to an iOS or Android device, the Insta360 Pro can live-stream video over Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

The Insta360 Pro will go on sale sometime later in 2017 with a $3,000 price tag, making it much more cost-effective than Facebook’s Surround 360 and GoPro’s Omni.
