Even in the richest of neighborhoods, some homes just scream opulence, which is exactly the case with this French estate-style home found in the Lincoln Park section of Chicago. It is currently listed at $50 million.

The mansion and its grounds take up the equivalent of seven city lots and, with the $50-million asking price, earns the title of the most expensive listing in the Windy City by almost $35 million.

Measuring in at 25,000 square feet, the manse holds six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and four half baths. The French-estate manor also boasts a wine cellar and tasting room that is very fitting in such a home.

Some of the tell-tale signs of the ritz and glamor of the 2010-built home include imported French marble flooring, triple-vaulted ceilings inspired by the stables at Versailles, and even imported French gravel for the entry court.

The rest of the property includes maintained lawns, fountains, outdoor terraces, a reflecting pool, and a hand-built antique garden pavilion.
