The asking price for late producer Jerry Weintraub’s Palm Desert, California, home has received a $4-million price cut after landing on the market earlier this year for $16 million.

Weintraub’s property is located on an elevated plot in the well-off Bighorn golf course community. Guy Dreier designed the home that holds six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms across the 9,152-square-foot Contemporary.

The house also boasts extra lavish living spaces like a custom pub, an office, a media room, and a great room with a see-through fireplace. The aforementioned pub is based on the bar found in Calridge’s, an Art-Deco-style hotel in London.

There are also two swimming pools that circle the perimeter of the home, which contrast nicely from the panther-slate exterior of the house.

Weintraub passed away last year at the age of 77. He was the manager of stars like Frank Sinatra, John Denver, and Bob Dylan, to name a few. Weintraub was also the producer of Hollywood hits such as “The Karate Kid,” both the original and the re-make, all of “The Karate Kid” sequels, the “Ocean’s Eleven” films, and the recently released “The Legend of Tarzan.”

The asking price of a Beverly Hills home belonging to Weintraub was listed this summer for $25 million. The about-an-acre-estate has also received a price reduction and is now listed at $22.495 million.
