Italian e-bicycle maker 43 Milano has given the world a unique e-bike called Icon, and it’s guaranteed to turn heads.

43 Milano gave the Icon a handmade Dedacciai steel frame that does away with the classic down tube and instead opts for a more angular setup which includes a near-90-degree angle between the two main tubes. Finishing off each side of the straight top tube are built-in Supernova headlights and taillights.

A 250-watt Pendix brushless bottom bracket motor helps the Icon’s rider pedal The motor is powered by a 48-volt, 300-watt-hour lithium-ion battery pack. The removable battery takes three hours to charge and boasts a range of 65 miles. The top speed of 43 Milano’s motor-assisted bike is 16 mph.

The Icon comes with a Shimano Alfine 8-speed rear hub transmission and Magura MT 4 hydraulic disc brakes.

43 Milano’s pricing for the Icon ranges from $5,000 to $7,000 depending on how potential owners want to set up their e-bike. The Italian shop plans on offering an off-road version of the Icon, which will come with SoftWheel shock-absorbing wheels, a SRAM GX 11-speed transmission, and a Lauf suspension fork up front.
