Julia Roberts is trying again to sell her beachfront estate on the North Shore of Kauai with a price chopped by over a third. Originally listed last year at $30 million, Roberts has the home priced at a more palatable $19.5 million this time around.

Named for the former owner Hans Peter Faye—who managed a sugar plantation—the Faye Residence is located on a highly exclusive stretch of beachfront property on Hanalei Bay with 213 feet of beach frontage across a vast and palm-lined lawn.

The 1917-built home and its guest house have a definitively plantation feel, with wide plank walls and ceilings, exposed beams, covered front porches. The red main home includes a galley kitchen and plenty of windows. All told, the property includes seven bedrooms and four bathrooms across 3,800 square feet of living space. Roberts originally purchased the estate back in 2011 for a reported $13.375 million.

Roberts’ storied film career includes best actress Oscar nominations for Steel Magnolias, Pretty Woman and August: Osage County as well as a win for her role in 2000’s Erin Brockovich. She recently purchased a $6.84 million home in the exclusive Point Dume area of Malibu.

The highest paid actress in the world during the 1990s, Roberts and husband Danny Moder have a combined net worth estimated at around $225 million as recently as last year.
