Nest has become known for its sleek and elegant tech products, from the thermostat that learns users’ preferences to the wireless smoke alarm. Now the Google-owned brand has unveiled its new security camera dubbed the Nest Cam Outdoor.

Nest already offers an indoor camera, the Nest Cam, but the newest creation is designed for outdoor surveillance. The company learned that customers were pointing their indoor cameras outside, but window reflections were hampering the quality.

The Nest Cam Outdoor helps solve that problem and is equipped with features like night vision and software that alerts owners’ to suspicious activity. Nest’s new product can stream footage in Full HD 1080p video, and it can even differentiate regular movement like a tree swaying from something more nefarious.

Customers will also be able to subscribe to an optional service called Nest Aware to save footage to the cloud. the camera will be available this September in the U.S.
