McDreamy actor and 2015 Le Mans runner-up Patrick Dempsey has very publicly reconciled with wife Jillian Fink. Now the couple is taking the final step in their vow renewal: They’re unloading the Pacific Palisades mansion Fink purchased six months after filing for divorce.

The five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home—all 6,135 square feet of it—sits on .39 acres in the Huntington Palisades neighborhood. The home was originally built in the 1950s in a traditional style before a contemporary redesign.

Guests entering the home are greeted by a double-height living room with oak floorboards and a marble mantel with fireplace and plenty of built-in firewood storage. A soaring window installation offers a view of the dining terrace and pool-spa combo. Other amenities include a butler pantry, eat-in kitchen and formal dining room, ample entertaining spaces, two master suites, a staff bedroom and a den currently set up as a playroom.

“You have to work at everything,” Dempsey told ES Magazine regarding the reconciliation, “and you cannot do everything. Something has to be sacrificed.” That something is reportedly Dempsey’s racing career, which will take a backseat to his responsibilities at home. “I’m the team owner, but time goes by so quickly with my kids that I don’t want to miss that,” the 50-year-old Grey’s Anatomy star said.

Wed in 1999, the couple has three children together, 14-year-old Tallula and Sullivan and Darby, 9-year-old twins.

One silver lining to the Dempseys’ marital whirlwind may be financial: with an $8 million asking price, they stand to make $1.9 million from the sale.
