Swiss watchmaker Jaquet Droz has created numerous luxurious items and accessories for its clients over the years. Now, the master of luxury timepieces has created a new line of colorful and creatively crafted Paillonné Enameled watches.

The colorful watches were created with the special technique of paillonné enameling that involves layering ultra-thin sheets of gold that create unique geometric patterns on a colored enamel base. The company’s founder, Pierre Jaquet-Droz, perfected the technique by hand nearly three centuries ago.

Since then, the luxury brand has continued its founder’s technique, and now the new collection blends the geometric patterns with fresh new hues.

The first of the new collection is the Grande Seconde that comes in violet, anthracite gray, and blue with 18-carat red gold 43-mm cases. It’s powered by Jaquet Droz’ self-winding mechanical 2663.P movement that is complete with a 68-hour power reserve.

A second piece in the collection is the Jaquet Droz Petite Heure Minute 39 mm Paillonné that will be available in gray, violet, and blue with a 39-mm red gold case holding the Jaquet Droz 2653.P self-winding mechanical movement.

Additional watches include the Jaquet Droz Pocket Watch Paillonné, available in bright red and blue with red gold cases, and then there’s also the Jaquet Droz Petite Heure Minute 35 mm Paillonné with its Jaquet Droz 2653.P self-winding mechanical movement.

Last, but not least, is the Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde Tourbillon Paillonné with a 43-mm case, a 7-day power reserve, and a Jaquet Droz 25JD movement.

Only eight of each of the exclusive watches will be made available.
