A 1,000-acre Athens, Georgia, farm formerly owned by country singer Kenny Rogers is set to go to auction with a $3.5-million starting price on July 9.

Known as Beaver Dam Farms, the large parcel of land features an 18-hole championship-rated golf course, three spring-fed lakes, a 12,000-square-foot mansion, two clubhouses, five guesthouses, an equestrian area with 44 stalls, two clay tennis courts, and two swimming pools.

Rogers sold the property back in 2003 for $10.5 million to Las Vegas rodeo businessman and real estate investor Wes Adams. Since Adams’ death in 2011, his family has been trying to unload the estate. In fact, they listed the impressive plot for $20 million before eventually dropping the price down to $9.5 million.

The iconic country singer even appeared in the marketing video for the property and discussed his personal connection to the land.
