The grand and scenic South Tower penthouse at Auberge Beach Residences & Spa recently sold for a record-setting price of $8.9 million, becoming the most expensive property ever sold in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, area.

The fully equipped 5,800-square-foot penthouse is accessed via a private elevator located in the equally plush lobby. The four-bedroom, six-bathroom abode is fitted with modern furnishings that still maintain the light and breezy oceanside feel that should be expected with views of the deep blue sea thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows all over the space.

The residence also boasts a sun room with 270-degree panoramic views of the beach and water, a 3,970-square-foot open terrace with a personal plunge pool, and al fresco dining. The South Tower penthouse also has access to on-site amenities like a wine cellar, a theater, a cigar room, an indoor golf simulator, a club room, and a spa.

Even though the South Tower penthouse at the Auberge is now off the market, the equally decked out 5,800-square-foot North Tower penthouse is on the market, which, when snatched up at the expected price of $9.8 million, will set a record of its own.
