Mercedes took to the 2016 New York Auto Show to unleash its updated version of the GLC SUV, and the result is the more muscular and bold 2017 Mercedes-AMG GLC43.

The new body kit features a deeper front bumper, a special chrome pin grill instead of slats, larger air ducts, and 20-inch alloy wheels with low-profile tires to help complete the aggressive design.

The all-wheel drive GLC43 holds a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine that makes 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque that is sent through a nine-speed automatic transmission. The GLC43 also has a limited top speed of 155 mph and takes only 4.8 seconds to zoom from zero to 60 mph.

The GLC43 will join the other new Mercedes featured in the Big Apple over the past week, including the E43 and C63 Cabriolet, and will land on Mercedes’ U.S. sales floors this fall.
