A Lincoln Park neighborhood property garnered attention when it was listed at $18.75 million. After a year and a half on the market, the Chicago mansion that was once Illinois’ most expensive listing has now sold for $13.345 million.

Although it went under contract in July, it reappeared on the market and continued to be available. After several months the price was eventually lowered to $16.9 million.

It may have eventually closed for a few million less, but it still took the title of the second most expensive sale of 2015. George Lucas and Melody Hobson’s 65th-floor Park Tower home took the first-place spot with a price of $18.75 million.
