Fifth Avenue store Bergdorf Goodman’s in New York is shaking things up by undergoing its largest renovation since the late 1990s.

The iconic store has created a new jewelry salon, envisioned by Bergdorf Goodman senior vice president Linda Fargo and designed by architect Michael Neumann, to offer customers an improved shopping experience in a space that is a work of art, much like the jewelry being showcased.

The new section features décor with a pearl-and-matte gray color scheme with stone flooring and breathes of marble to go along with steel and antiqued bronze metals. This is paired with a newly created fine-jewelry viewing room decked out with fabric-paneled walls, luxurious seats, and custom crystal chandeliers.

Bergdorf Goodman completes the space by adding new designers to its showcases, with pieces from the likes of Bulgari, Piaget, Daniela Villegas, and Yannis Sergakis now available on its shelves.
