Producer-director Richard Donner, known for his work with Superman, The Goonies, and Lethal Weapon, has just listed his Maui home. Donner directed the original Superman starring Christopher Reeve. The iconic movie is widely recognized as the first modern superhero film.

Donner is hoping to get $22 million for his custom-designed, oceanfront Maui estate built in 2004. With a modern, beachy aesthetic, it was even featured in “Architectural Digest” in 2008, surely for its modern style and exposed wood beam ceilings.

The two-bed, four-bath home designed by architect Thomas A. Kligerman features a great room, sunroom, media room, and incredible walls of glass. At 4,500 square feet with vaulted living spaces, the interior’s elegance even flows to the outdoor deck.

A separate office, gym, and guesthouse also offer the perfect balance of comfort and luxury. Residents of the Hawaiian-style home will enjoy frontage of the Keawakapu Beach with plenty of space to roam and laze.
