Hard Rock Café co-founder Peter Morton recently sold a small parcel located in his lush Holmby Hills neighborhood compound in Los Angeles for $4.5 million, a little less than the $6 million he originally asked for the 0.22-acre property he purchased in 2010.
The house is a 4,800-square-foot 1930s Mediterranean-style villa with a terra cotta tile roof, walled courtyard, and swimming pool. The three-story home holds four bedrooms—with a master and two family bedrooms on the upper floor and a staff suite on the main floor—and 3.5 bathrooms.
Other features include a large dining and family room, a library, a lower-level den, and an eat-in kitchen that opens to the courtyard and pool area.
Morton let go of his stake in Hard Rock Café for $410 million in 1996 and has built an exclusive property list, with many of his homes located in luxurious Southern California areas.
