Olympic and X Games gold medalist Shaun White recently made a property splash with his purchase of a brand-new contemporary home just above Los Angeles’ Outpost Estates for $6.4 million.

White’s new 4,500-square-foot house has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths with a two-car garage. The interior features floor-to-ceiling glass for an open view of the city accompanied by a zig-zag lighting system throughout the high-traffic areas of the residence.

White—who plans to compete in his fourth Olympics in 2018—also owns four other Southern California homes, the most prominent of which is his bluff-top Malibu, Calif., property overlooking Point Dume, which he purchased for $8.94 million in 2013.
