Porsche’s first all-electric four-seat sports car has made its debut at the 2015 IAA in Frankfurt. The luxury brand’s Mission E concept vehicle features an 800-volt drive system with more than 600 hp for the ultimate in performance.

With all-wheel drive and steering, the Porsche concept will be able to speed from zero to 62 mph in just under 3.5 seconds.

The lithium-ion battery only takes 15 minutes to charge and is conveniently mounted in the car’s underbody. Because of the battery’s updated technology, it runs the length between the front and rear axles so the weight is distributed evenly.

A new front-end sports reduced sculpting reminiscent of the 918 Spyder, while the interior is just as alluring with race bucket seats, a curved center console, and technological advancements.

Drivers will enjoy eye tracking and gesture control for easy use of tech, navigation, and additional features.

Although a threat to Tesla’s super-powered reputation, it’s quite a bit slower than the Model S’s Ludicrous Mode, which can reach 60 mph in only 2.8 seconds. Tesla is ahead for now, but expect the Germans—with their meticulous engineering—to give it a run for its money.
