Neato Botvac D85, a robot vacuum, uses laser-guided technology to set it apart from other autonomous vacuums on the market.

This smart vacuum has a 360-degree “eye” that uses lasers to sense its surroundings. It runs on a nickel metal hydride battery, and it knows when it needs to be charged up. The vacuum does not need to be carried from room to room either. It can be programed to clean several rooms in one session.

The Botvac D85 works just as well on hardwood or tile as it does on carpet. In other words, the user can program the vacuum bot to clean multiple rooms regardless of flooring.
