A rare 1907 Harley-Davidson Strap Tank recently was sold at auction for $650,000.

Other than its age, this Harley-Davidson Strap Tank is extremely valuable for a few other reasons. These Harley-Davidson Strap Tank models are rarely seen. In fact, there may only be a handful left in existence, so this is a rare item.

The motorcycle is among the first the Harley-Davidsons every produced. After doing some research with the help of the bike’s serial number, it was discovered that it was the 37th bike that the company made in 1907. After a bit more math, it was determined that this was the 94th bike that Harley-Davidson ever produced.

The bike is considered to be the best unrestored 1907 Harley-Davidson Strap Tank in the world and is definitely a collector’s dream.
