This Wall-Projecting Clock Can Display Weather, Tweets, Family’s Location on a Map, and More

With nearly everyone constantly carrying a mobile phone, clocks’ slip into irrevelancy may have already begun. “The Coolest Clock,” created by a Austrian company  à tout le Monde Studios, attempts to pull the wall clock back into the limelight nevertheless.

The clock works like a projector: Simply plug the clock into a power outlet and it wirelessly connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth. Download an app and your smartphone acts as a remote for the clock. This clock can fit into any design scheme with several different faces and styles available.

The clock can connect to your Facebook and Twitter, display top news stories, weather forecasts, and more.  You can also share your location, photos, and display what songs you are currently listen to on the display.

The company expects to begin shipping The Coolest Clock in December of this year. The current price is $189.

The Coolest Clock was made possible thanks to an Indiegogo campaign that raised nearly $250,000 as of April 5th, surpassing the company’s $20,000 goal.
