The Los Angeles Carlyle Residences, a 24-story luxury skyrise, is now 80 percent sold. Total sales thus far total up to $225 million.

“We are thrilled with the continued momentum of sales through the second and third quarters of 2014, and are looking forward to closing out what will be an incredibly successful year,” Samantha Sax, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Sales for Elad Group, said.  “We saw eight newly accepted deals in June alone, followed by a remarkable acceleration of sales and closings during the months of October and November.”

There is still one penthouse left on the 23rd floor that is fully furnished and totals 4,283-square-feet of living space with three bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths. It costs $9.916 million.

“Buyers continue to respond to the lifestyle offered at the Carlyle, exceeding all our expectations,” Mauricio Umansky, CEO and Co-Founder of The Agency, said. “The Carlyle has become an international hub for business executives looking for a part time home on the West Coast, and traffic has increased tremendously since early spring.  We’re also seeing a lot of activity from local buyers looking to relocate to the heart of Westwood, empty nesters and those in the second home market.  With the building’s full-service amenities, expansive floor plans, high-end finishes and stunning views—there is truly something for everybody.”

If a penthouse is not really your style there are still other residences up for grabs starting at $2.595 million.
