Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has purchased Jenny Craig’s luxurious ranch in San Diego.

Gates bought the property in part because his daughter is an avid horseback rider and often visits the area. Gates also intends to allow the property to be used in the Grand Prix circuit for hunters and horse jumpers.

“I was happy that the buyer is someone who can afford to turn it into the showplace it was meant to be. It will be kept as a horse barn so the neighbors will be thrilled,” Jenny Craig, previous owner and fitness expert, said. “The person who bought it will make it like it can and should be.”

The 229-acre ranch features several barns, a three-quarter-mile race track, a guest house, a vet compound, and more. The interior of the guest house has a rustic feel and is decorated with a horse theme.

Craig bought the property for $18 million and originally listed it 2010 for $30 million. Gates paid $25 million for the property.
