Italian luxury brand Caviar is looking to capitalize on polarizing Russian leader Vladimir Putin by releasing a gold iPhone 5S dedicated to him.
The gold phone features a portrait of Putin, as well as the Russian coat of arms and lyrics from the country’s national anthem.
Caviar’s phones have featured portraits of famous people before like Steve Jobs and Mohammad Ali but this is the first time that the luxury brand has attempted to play on a nation’s sense of pride, describing the gold plated iPhone 5S dedicated to Putin as “the best way to express patriotism.”
In order for a Russian to show off said patriotism they will have to pay $4,340 for Caviar’s Putin-themed iPhone 5S.
