Louis Moinet’s Stardance has not only been preselected as one of the top seven watches in the Ladies’ watch category by the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève jury, it is also the first watch in the world to contain diamonds from a meteorite.

The Stardance contains a fragment of meteorite at 12 o’clock that was crafted from a piece of the enstatite eH3 meteorite.  The meteor is believed to be over 4.6 billion years old, making it older than our solar system. The watch also features a dial made of mother-of-pearl, a white ceramic bezel, an inner ring with 54 diamonds and 6 cabochon-cut sapphires, a hand-sewn white alligator strap and has a case made of titanium.

The Stardance is limited to just 365 pieces.  The limited timepiece can be found priced between $19,500 to $25,000.
