The Carrera MikroPendulumS is the first ever magnet-driven 100th-of-a-second chronograph and the world’s first double magnetic tourbillon, both visible dialside. Three years ago, TAG Heuer showcased a concept watch, which had the world’s first escapement using magnets instead of a traditional hairspring.  The Carrera MikroPendulumS is the watch they say has perfected the use of magnets in their watches.

TAG Heuer claims the watch is the fastest beat tourbillon ever made.  The watch also features a stop-watch like placement of its crown and chronograph pushers at 12 o’clock, solid rose gold bridges, and a hand-sewn anthracite alligator skin.
