The 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante has been unveiled, and it sports a 6.0 liter V12 engine with 565 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque and reaches speeds of 183 mph.

The vehicle is the first fully carbon fiber-skinned convertible car in Aston Martin’s history.  The car has a lightweight fabric roof that takes only 14 seconds to fold.  Design features like the elongated side strakes and LED rear light blades are reminiscent of past Volante cars.  The Vanquish Volante uses the latest generation of Aston Martin’s VH (Vertical Horizontal) architecture meaning the car has a lightweight bonded aluminum structure.  The price of this vehicle starts at $297,995.
