Marie Antoinette, last queen of France, was renowned for her penchant for ultra-luxury and reckless spending.

Lilicoptere, by Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos, pays homage to Madame Deficit, as Marie Antoinette was known. The work of art is the artist’s vision of what Marie Antoinette would have flown in if she was alive today.

The Lilicoptère is a Bell 47 helicopter covered with pink ostrich feathers, gold leaf, Swarovski Crystals, Arraiolos rugs, walnut wood, and wood grain painting.
