Volvo is changing the look of autonomous cars, making them more comfortable for the driver and passengers on long trips with the “Concept 26.”

The concept has a “morphing interior” that allows the driver to recline and do anything they desire while the driving is relegated to the on-board driving system.

The front two captain’s chairs of the car can move back entirely to the rear seats to give the front passengers plenty of leg room to relax and enjoy the expansive infotainment system tucked in the front passenger side of the dash.

Volvo envisions their new autonomous design to change how people treat their commute, while reimagining the entire car experience all at once.
