LeBron James has been trying to sell his Florida home ever since he took his talents out of Miami and went back to Cleveland.

Originally listed for $17 million at the beginning of the year, the Miami home has been sitting on the market and is now available with a $2 million discount. The new asking price is around $15 million.

“What people really want is Star Island, Palm Island, Indian Creek Island, La Gorce Island, or North Bay Road” Chris Leavitt, director of luxury sales for Douglas Elliman, said. “These are the premier real estate locations in Miami,” Leavitt said. “This is not, unfortunately, there. It’s not a bad price per square foot, but I think it’s a tad high for that area.”

“I would focus on the privacy,” Leavitt said. “It’s close enough to the action, but it’s far enough away that you’re not in the hustle and bustle. It’s very serene and peaceful down there. It is one of the most wide-open bay views you’ll find. There are lots and lots of great attributes.”

The six-bedroom, 8.5 bathroom home was originally bought by James in 2010 for $9 million.
